It's built on a solid trailer base and includes a weather-resistant deck and steps, plus carpet and curtains for immediate comfort - ready to move into straight away.
With low-maintenance aluminium windows and door, and Zincalume cladding on the exterior, the cabin is designed for long-lasting performance. Resistant to corrosion and weather, it stays looking great while remaining practical and easy to care for.
Despite its smaller size, it features full ceiling, wall, and underfloor insulation plus electrical wiring to NZ residential standards. Combined with its elevated design for natural airflow underneath, the Standard Cabin offers a dry, warm, and healthy space year-round.
Ideal for use as a sleepout, home office, hobby room, personal retreat, extra living area, or storage solution. This cabin delivers practicality and comfort in one tidy package.

Setup & Use Requirements
Our cabins are towed to the site just like caravans. The requirements for setup of our portable cabins are simple.
Ensure the site has the following:
- Level area to allow placement of cabin plus space to allow delivery vehicle to turn.
- 3-pin 230 volt AC connection point for cabin power. A 15m caravan to 3-pin plug cable is provided with the cabin.
Cabins To Rent Manawatu will arrange for the cabin to be delivered, located and levelled. You then simply need to connect up the power.
Any problems with cabins need to be reported to Cabins To Rent Manawatu and upon expiry of the rental agreement the cabin needs to be cleaned.
To get started...
- Simply fill out on the online Rental Application form and submit it.
- We will complete a credit check and send out an agreement for you to sign and return.
- Then we will make arrangements to deliver the cabin to your property and get it set up.
