Our largest long-term portable rental cabin is the Extra Large Cabin which offers generous space for a wide range of uses - from long-term accommodation to office or hobby space. It will easily accommodate a queen size bed as well as standard bedroom furniture.
Built on a sturdy trailer and supplied with a weather-resistant deck and steps, this cabin is designed for comfort, durability, and practical functionality.
The cabin’s exterior combines low-maintenance aluminium joinery with Zincalume cladding, offering a naturally attractive finish that lasts. Zincalume provides excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and thermal efficiency, making it ideal for long-term comfort and minimal upkeep.
With ceiling, wall, and underfloor insulation using full batts installed to NZ residential standards, and elevated mounting for improved airflow underneath, the cabin offers a dry, healthy environment with comfortable temperature in every season.

Setup & Use Requirements
Our cabins are towed to the site just like caravans. The requirements for setup of our portable cabins are simple.
Ensure the site has the following:
- Level area to allow placement of cabin plus space to allow delivery vehicle to turn.
- 3-pin 230 volt AC connection point for cabin power. A 15m caravan to 3-pin plug cable is provided with the cabin.
Cabins To Rent Manawatu will arrange for the cabin to be delivered, located and levelled. You then simply need to connect up the power.
Any problems with cabins need to be reported to Cabins To Rent Manawatu and upon expiry of the rental agreement the cabin needs to be cleaned.
To get started...
- Simply fill out on the online Rental Application form and submit it.
- We will complete a credit check and send out an agreement for you to sign and return.
- Then we will make arrangements to deliver the cabin to your property and get it set up.
