General & Pre-Rental

Our minimum rental period is 6 months as this works out the most economical for our customers and also allows us to maintain our low weekly rental rates.

The majority of our customers will take an initial rental term contract of between 6 to 12 month and then continue to rent after that period is up.

There is no limit to how long you keep renting your cabin after your rental period is over – we have some happy customers who are nearing into their 4th year of cabin rental.

Yes, a bond is required but it is very competitively priced.  Please call us for more specific details.

In order to cover our transport and setup costs we do charge a delivery fee depending on your location. Please call us for more specific details.

A flat or near level site is required for the cabin. We need 3.5m of clear space around the cabin and 0.5m of clear space above the cabin, eg. clear of overhanging trees and eaves of the house. Room is needed to maneuver the cabin into position.

In most areas at least 1.5m from the boundary. In some cases 3m. Please check with your council to confirm which applies to your property.

No – Because they are a temporary and mobile form of accommodation. It would be in very rare circumstance that you could require a consent for a portable cabin.

All of our cabins are built in our undercover factory by professional tradesmen and than trucked and relocated at your site.

Delivery & Setup

No, moving the cabins is a job for our specialist drivers and equipment to tow over-dimension loads. The cabins are not insured for hirers to move them themselves.

The cabins are towed with our 4×4 vehicles using the required safety equipment for over-dimension loads. We need unobstructed access to get the cabin onto your site.

For insurance compliance, we are unable to deliver a cabin using a neighbour’s property.

Yes. The cabin is built on the trailer/chassis.

Cabin Features & Utilities

3.2m at the highest point in the centre of the cabin.

Yes – all of our cabins are fully insulated in the walls, ceilings, and fully under floor insulation. This is great for warmth in the winter, and also helps to keep it cooler in the summer.
Yes – All of our units are provided with power connectors that allow easy connection to existing 230v power outlets at most homes and office sites.

All cabins have an electrical warrant of fitness.

We supply a 15m caravan lead and interface box which is plugged into a builder’s pole or a 3-pin plug at the house. 16 amps is possible if connected to a caravan supply or 16 amp circuit at the house. Otherwise the supply is limited to 10 amps using the interface box and ordinary 3-pin power point.

A generator can be used if it is situated no less than 15m from the cabin.

No appliances are supplied with the cabins. Our customers supply their own appliances.

No – gas appliances are not allowed in our rental cabins.

A phone / internet cable is spooled up under the cabin directly under the connection point inside the cabin. This needs to connect to the house.

If you are making use of a nearby WiFi connection please test this from the planned cabin position prior to delivery time. A full delivery charge is applied to relocate a cabin on the same site.

A TV aerial cable is spooled up under the cabin directly under the connection point inside the cabin. If a Sky dish is installed by a contractor, it must not be fixed to the cabin. Sky dishes for rental cabins are usually fixed to a nearby building or post.

Usage & Rules

Smoking is not allowed in the cabin. There will be an extra cleaning charge for removing any smoke odour.

Animals are not allowed in the cabin. There will be an extra cleaning charge for removing any animal odour.
